I'm an American who spent the last 6 years living in Mexico, Taiwan, and spent nearly a year in Europe. I had a return ticket to Taiwan, but I decided to stay, as my stepfather recently passed away and I felt compelled to be here for my mom. Also as a transitioning teacher, my work options there are limited and the only way I can really keep studying and making life work another route is stay in the US right now. (1/21)
