Do you get offended when people call it lunar new year instead of chinese new year? I have videos going viral and there are people big mad. As a chinese person, I used to be very against using lunar new year instead of chinese new year. Now IDC bc being more inclusive and respectful is the name of the holiday and bringing togetherness rather than separation especially in these times. Its in no way to hide the "chinese" aspect or origins or sinophobia.

19 小時內	Nikki @JustPreciousThings justpreciousthings	Chinese aren’t the only people in Asia who celebrate it so I don’t know why anyone should be offended by Lunar New Year. If anything, the non-Chinese Asians like Koreans and Vietnamese should be offended by Chinese New Year.
