I know how you feel having lost several dogs. The last one was adopted senior sheltie named Max, who was funny, and sweet and loving. — he even chased away a bear.

I hope that when you can, you will adopt another dog. Only when you’re ready. But I think it might soothe your heart and save the dog.

You did the right thing. It’s sad that their lives are so much shorter than ours.

Sweetie I can only say that time is the only thing that will heal your heart 💔 It will always hurt but in time you will be able to remember him and all of his cuteness and things that he did that made you happy! I’m telling you this from experience and I know that kind of pain all too well. It’s the worst pain ever! I’m so so sorry that you’re going through this sweetie!
