pre 2016 was the prime time to buy a car. Interest rates were 👌🏻 I bought a brand new Toyota in Fall 2013 and had a 0% loan!! Thankfully I had that as a trade in and was saving, so my next loan was significantly smaller and the interest wasn't that big of a deal when I needed to upgrade.

I drive a 2002 Chevy Astro. People don’t realize that if you take care of a car it can EASILY last 20 or more years. My car is basically a tank It’s older than me and it drives better than most new cars in my opinion. It has Bluetooth attachments, usb connectors, cigarette lighters, ashtrays, 4 wheel drive, holds 27 gallons of gas, buttons instead of a touchscreen, and has 8 seats.

anyone who cares about having a brand new car is a facetious consumerist who can't resist giving their money to billionaires. Also old cars are objectively cooler, I'd respect someone way mkre for driving a 1984 Mustang vs. a 2024
