Recently in St Louis at Ivy a Mediterranean place as a homeless man walking/bent over w/severe osteoporosis looking for food and asking people for help. Most were ignoring him but a guy came along and seemed to want to help. About that time the server literally brought me out an extra sandwich they made in error and gave it to me. My heart welled with emotion and I passed this sandwich along to the helper who gave it to the homeless man. God made that sandwich for him. ❤️

I call BS coming from a “social media strategist” farming for engagement. anyyyyyway, I once gave a homeless dude asking for money for something to eat a container of food, that he promptly threw in the garbage. I have to admit that I have never given anyone food again after that.

Some ways to help people who need food: Donate to a food pantry Look for Community kitchens Keep single dollars in your pocket, and give, if you are so moved. I also used to keep track of organizations/religious or secular - that had Food Pantries and I would tell persons where they were located.
