生墨を入れる墨木型は木で出来てるので、使い込むうちに端が摩耗してきます。 墨の整形の際、そこに生墨が入りこみバリが出来てしまいます。 そのバリを削り取ってから乾燥に入ります。 墨の端にあるバリ見えますか？ The sumistick mold into which raw ink is poured is made of wood, so the edges will wear out over time. When shaping the sumiink, the raw ink gets stuck in there and creates burrs. After scraping off the burrs, it begins drying.
