I’m a DACA participant. Before DACA was implemented I remember having to work night shifts under the worst conditions at a plastics recycling company with my mom. We killed ourselves and got paid a misery. Then I had to go to school in the morning and keep my grades up. I was in all AP classes, but I never got to take the tests at the end of the year because I had no social. No college credits for me. This is literally so devastating. I never thought I’d experience this kind of fear again.
