Genesis 19:26 tells the story of Lot’s wife looking back and turning into a pillar of salt. It’s a heavy reminder for me about the danger of clinging to the past when God is calling us forward. How often do we look back on what we’ve left behind, even though it’s not part of God’s plan for us anymore? This verse challenges me to trust where He’s leading and not let my heart stay stuck in places He’s already rescued me from.
