*rubs temples* Because I keep seeing comments about this, I did not just rewrite THE FALCONER series from YA to NA to add smut. I spent *months* (MONTHS.) fully revising and reimagining all three books because I was an author shoved from NA into YA in the early 2010s and I had an editor who hated romance on top of that. So I rewrote it to be the *fantasy romance series* I wanted before I had to sell it as YA. Some on page dicking down was just an added bonus, not the sum total of my reasons.
