I wore an áo dài to work today and handed out lì xì to my coworkers to spread luck and joy to our little office. I’ve heard we should keep our heads down and not draw any attention to ourselves especially over the noise over who is American and who isn’t. I’m tired of being meek. I want to celebrate my heritage and culture loudly and proudly and still be seen as American.
