As an American I would get deported if I went to a different country and overstayed my visa why should it be different for people that illegally come here

These things were already in our laws and happening. The difference now is that there is no requirement for due process, so they don’t have the chance to go before a judge before being deported.

This actually isn’t true. A lot of times you’d pay a fine for overstaying your visa at the airport when you left.

Well America was known as the dream country ! Where there was opportunities so many around the world came to the US. People are obviously able to work and get paid and apply for Medical/Medicaid. So yeah the US gives us the shitty jobs that NO ONE wants with a Shitty pay! But we make it happen and we work hard.

I migrated to the US then became a citizen. It took me 15 minutes to decide to file for naturalisation, 30 minutes to apply online, 10 minutes biometric and 10 minutes or less interview. I really worried about the country because it was too quick and easy to become an “American”. There’s no easier developped country to enter and stay the right way. I have many things I don’t like about life in my birth country. But I’d never blame that on another country or use excuse to break in

You’re American, you live in a democracy, many immigrants leave dire situations, people come here illegally because they can’t get in legally. Stop judging
