Dear Lord, Help me to weed out the habits, thoughts, and actions that do not promote the mercy-filled compassionate person that you call me to be. I ask for your care and guidance that I become a lifeline for others. May my words and actions build others up rather than tear them down. And may I give my time and my heart to those who stand in need. Amen.
