I sometimes get confused between French and English because they share a lot of the same words. I'll be spelling something or just stare at a word for a few minutes and be like, that's right, right? I have to spell it out.🤦

It depends on the language I use to address who’s the listener or reader. I think in English when using it & don’t think in my L1 as the bridge. I use English (my 3rd language) to help me learn the 4th language as they have closer linguistic proximity than my 1st/2nd language

Usually think in English unless I’m speaking/reading Spanish for an extended time. Dream in Spanish occasionally
