🧧 Since the term Lunar / Chinese New Year is becoming political now, I just wanted to share a fact : Lunar New Year & Chinese New Year are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. Lunar New Year is Islamic New Year as Islam observes moon/lunar calendar. While Chinese New Year observes Lunisolar calendar And, Chinese New Year is also called as 农历新年/春节 which directly translates into Agricultural Calendar New Year / Spring Festival. Let’s not hijacking Islamic new year? And let’s respect both Chinese & Islam? Duh
