Oh, but there are two works referred to in the bible — our work, on our own, that does not lead to salvation & the work we do with the Holy Spirit, that is, if the person has received the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4). The work with the Holy Spirit, I believe, is what is referred to in Philipians 2:12 to “work” out our salvation — Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 🙏
