I recently applied for a $500 NARS campaign on a UGC platform but wasn’t approved. However, I later noticed that creators with fake followers and barely 100 views were accepted. It’s frustrating to see brands overlook content quality and real engagement in favor of inflated numbers.
These platforms are meant for creators with smaller but authentic audiences, yet approvals go to those with 40K+ fake followers. Shouldn’t brands pay more attention to real creators?
