India is projected to surpass Indonesia as the country with the largest Muslim population by 2025. According to a report by the Pew Research Center, India's Muslim population is expected to reach approximately 310 million by 2050, making up about 11% of the global Muslim population.  Currently, Indonesia holds the title for the largest Muslim population.
