While I don’t advocate for all the sane people fleeing red states, as a disabled person, I feel a somewhat urgent need to protect myself by relocating. I only moved into this townhome a year ago- I’m not emotionally ready to leave yet - but if things continue like this, I need to get to safer ground, if I can.

21 小時內	cat with a k ohnokat	Same, disabled and the situation in my home state (IN) isn't good. They're working to cut Medicaid benefits for everyone on it. I've thought about relocating to Illinois but unfortunately, the family caregivers I rely on aren't willing to move. So unless I'm able to find resources to move myself, I'm stuck here in a healthcare dumpster fire.
