Perpetually the single friend. Never had a date to dances in high school, let alone a boyfriend. Was hooking up with a guy regularly (but of course I was never good enough to date) and we were at the bar one night and his friend (who had never seen me before) said IN FRONT OF ME “really, you’re into her?”. Seeing myself in any picture ever. Honestly…there’s so many small moments that remind me of it constantly.
