Romance authors: What’s the weirdest or most uncomfortable place you ever wrote a spicy scene? I once wrote one while sitting in a coffee shop. Which doesn’t sound bad at all, until you factor in that there was apparently a “men of God” meeting of church guys in their khaki pants at the table RIGHT NEXT TO ME discussing their mission trips and loudly praying for guidance from the Lord. I added spanking to that scene. It seemed appropriate. 😇
