A Palestinian father wrote the following on a Facebook post: “A message to my children I want to tell you that I have built symbolic graves for you. I have failed. After 13 months, I have been unable to find your pure bodies beneath the rubble. I am completely helpless without you. I apologize to you. Forgive me, your father, Wael.”
