sheeeesh points were made! 🥴 initially, i thought the concept of HillmanTok University was genius — but ngl tik tok has given me a big ick for a while now. the accessibility of information lured me. academia is not a friendly space, it’s often elitist & information isn’t engaging for diverse learners w/ varying backgrounds. instead info is sometimes wielded as a ploy to flaunt expertise & self-pomposity. instead of encouraging productive (even critical) conversations..
