Japan: gotta love being profiled and treated like a criminal AT THE AIRPORT. What a traumatizing experience. They tested my travel partner and I for drugs, swabbed all our belongings, looked for hidden compartments Asked me about 30 times why I’m in Japan and for how long And we are both American. They questioned why we have so many visa stamps for Taiwan and Thailand It was just absolutely uncalled for Caused us to miss our train & dinner with our best friend who flew from LA

And American passport ? 🤭 you know the strongest and most reliable passports are Asians right ? From Singapore they checked me 2x because I have stamps from the Middle East . Random ; anyone can be checked and questioned.

Those officers have every right to inspect anyone even Japanese citizens entering to Japan if they feel that is necessary.
9 小時內	Arisa anlisha	You are Americans and have been to Thailand multiple times. Depending on the state, marijuana is legal in both the U.S. and Thailand. This fact alone is enough reason for them to check you. Don't act like a victim. The officers at the airport they just did their job.
