Since I’ve been really sick and haven’t been posting I’m inspired to do so now cause I heard it’s World Hijab Day. I started wearing hijab in April 2024. The same day I first took Shahada and reverted to Islam. Wearing hijab has always been a sacred choice. Never compulsion. I love my hijab. Feel closer to Allah in my hijab. Feel liberated in my hijab. Especially during these times in this place where people like me are more othered than ever before, I am so damn honored to wear my hijab.
