Saltwater Society is simple and straightforward story but holds a strong message. "It is a reminder that we all come from the same source, and no one creature should overcome the right of the other to live for the sake of greed and power." It criticizes humans' greed and power towards other humans and towards other creatures on this earth. I love the relationship between Rani and Tristan. It's not a fairytale love story but a respectful friendship between two species that coexisted.
