Getting ready to travel to the Netherlands later this week. Opened my "travel drawer" (the one with my passports, adapters, sea sickness tablets etc) and found hundreds of euros in cash! Mum gave it to me after our trip to Morocco in 2022. It seems in the 3 years since I'd last been there the country had gone a lot more cashless and also fallen out with France, so Euros were a lot less useful than they used to be. I'm expecting the Netherlands to be equally cashless but you never know.
