This is one of my favorite boxsets and it’s very collectable these days. Smashing Pumpkins - “The Aeroplane Flies High” (1996) has 5 CDs of hits, b-sides and excellent cover songs. They cover The Cars, Alice Cooper, The Cure, Blondie & Missing Persons all in that trademark Smashing Pumpkins style. It’s a great insight both into their influences as a band but also their creative process in writing songs. Plus the 44 page booklet has pictures and stories from Billy Corgan. Check it out!
