Story time! I'm visiting family in Florida, and we went on a day tour. The bitchy queen tour guide asked where I was from and after I told him California, stopped a beat, then asked if there are lots of illegals where I live. I was so taken aback I just told him my city is 77% Hispanic and maybe some are. WTF??? I can think of many things I should have said now. I feel like I failed in this instance of facing bigotry.
