No one talks about this enough, but being a strong black woman comes with so much opposition. While being a fragile; less domineering, less vocal, docile, and compliant black woman is automatically more likable and accepted. White America silently stands by questioning our audacity. How dare you be far more intelligent, eloquent, ethical, educated, informed and have courage to challenge anything that you disagree with? The nerve of the proverbial “Strong Black Woman”.
