Traveled Mexico 6 months in 1975 with a girlfriend at 17 years old, riding buses to be amongst the people. Everywhere families watched out for us. When waiting for buses at night, Mexican families lay blankets out on the ground- mothers inviting us to lay with the children as fathers watch over us as part of the family. It was this way for many months of travel. These most generous, kind people are worthy of full respect everywhere they chose to live, I cherish them here in America too. BLESS🇲🇽
