My family visited me in Japan for 10 days over the holidays. Here’s my recap of the itinerary I took them on, which includes Tokyo, Gujo, Matsumoto, and Nagano. It was a perfect mix of touristy things like Asakusa and Teamlab, to more off the beaten path areas like Gifu, to the in-between like Matsumoto.
