Our crews tonight on a fire at a gas station on Alameda near Harlan in Lakewood. Several 911 callers reported smoke and flames coming from the building- which was abandoned, but being used as a shelter. Firefighters rescued one person trapped inside, who was transported to the hospital. There were possibly two dozen people living in the abandoned structure. Damage from the fire was extensive, and the cause is under investigation. #westmetrofirerescue #structurefire #firefighters #colorado
