In FACT, they are opposed to one another, because special favors or priveleges or a “leg up” for SOME groups considered more “valuable” by wherever twisted metric they use…translates to ACTIVE DISCRIMINATION towards the groups that do not fall into the “chosen ones” status. This is why much of DEI is in fact in violation of civil rights statutes.
