Lockheed Super Constellation In 1988, this aircraft was impounded in Manila Philippines and abandoned by its owners. With the help of many volunteers from the Qantas Founders Museum, and QANTAS Foundation Memorial, in 2015 they began the process of acquiring (approx. $2M) and recovering the aircraft in the Philippines, restored for the next two years.
