This was my child’s lunch today. Nothing cut up in a cute shape. No hand written note. There’s not theme or decorative lunch box. Nothing she could heat up. No separate containers. Fruit thrown in a plastic bag. Sometimes I throw in a little pizzaz. Something extra. Sometimes I yell as she is getting out at school drop off “oh crap, hot lunch today!” And guess what?
