If you're going to quote Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, use the actual quote: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
It's about humanizing Black people, seeing more than their skin color.
"I don't see color" is a refusal to acknowledge the role you play in the oppression of Black people and lean into racism denial, which is racism.
