Once again, I know nuance is hard for threads. But if you're going to try and rally people against a reader who very well could be in a developing country when there's 100s of others who actually HAVE the resources to access cheap and free books, imma think less of you. Americans don't have an excuse to pirate. Authors deserve to be paid. Most western countries have the resources to encourage ethical accessible reading. ALL OF THAT CAN BE TRUE

Netgalley and Kindle more often than not don't have books for readers outside of western countries. And even when kindle does, the price can be DRASTICALLY different Books in other countries can cost as much as my rent here in the US. libraries are not globally universal as much as I wish they were. Yes, the vast majority of Pirates aren't these people.
