탕수육 • Sweet & Sour Pork
탕수육 (Tangsuyuk) is a Korean-Chinese dish adapted from Guobaorou (Chinese Sweet & Sour Pork). The main obvious differences between the 2 are:
• Tangsuyuk is cut into “finger” shapes while Guobaorou is cut into thin broad slices.
• Both have a sweet and sour flavor. Tangsuyuk is typically sweeter and often includes Pineapple in the Sauce while Guobaorou is usually more sour.
Both are delicious and I have no preference for one or the other.
