Murder Land, my queer YA Thriller debut, is set in a fictional theme park in LA County and is an amalgamation of Disneyland/DCA, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Universal Studios Hollywood. I’m an LA native and often find myself setting my books within my home state and often use them to show off different parts of CA and LA in particular. It’s such a diverse place with so much history and character and I kinda see every book as me painting in a few more details of my home for my readers. 🩷
