Congratulations that is wonderful news and believe me I know what you are going through I had a my first at 32 weeks he was 2 pounds 4 ounces this was 1976 he is going to be 48 this year

My daughter was also born at 29 weeks at about the same weight. Although she did not gain as quickly as your son, she has done remarkable things with her life. Preemies seem to fight so hard at first that this attitude just carries on through their life. She is now 31 years old, an Aerospace Engineer with a master’s degree in Flight Test Engineering. Give your son an extra hug and know he will do so well in life.
