I think what people are forgetting is that all celebrities, included athletes are media trained and the Chiefs PR team (whose paychecks are signed by the Hunts) aren’t going to let their players say certain things. I don’t like it, but it’s how it works. He was in a no win situation. If he talked out against Trump it would have been a thing that Trump would’ve posted about and the Chiefs media team would have been in a literal nightmare.
