Yesterday, I went to a startup pitch night, not as a founder, but as an investor looking for deals. I sat down next to someone who asked my why I was there. When I explained, he seemed genuinely surprised. I actually enjoy being underestimated and under the radar. I can sit back quietly and study instead of schmooze.
