I am so in LOVE with every author and reader pushing back against the sickofsmut movement. I used to dislike calling my books "smutty" because I hated the negative/dirty connotation. But fuck it. My books are smutty. They're also complex and layered, with so much research going into the historical and mythological elements. The characters feel real. The descriptions make readers feel like they're there. EVEN in the smutty scenes. So, there.
