I don't want to jinx myself and I can't contain my excitement. I just applied to potentially adopt one of these two dachshund mixes from a rescue in NJ. They were both rescued from a shelter in South Carolina where they could have been euthanized. Now they're in foster homes in NJ and looking for their forever homes. Let's see if they choose me for one of them! This rescue has a lot of 1-star reviews so I'm a bit worried. We'll see how this goes.
