I am based in Berlin, Germany and I pay 36.67% in taxes monthly from my salary. I am single and I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong? How can I make this amount lower?

In Spain: the average person pays 20%, only rich people pay over 40%. And taxes cover health and education so when you go to the doctor without co-pay, you get tests for free and you pay only 10% of your meds, how is that not a win?
