Update on mum. Spoke to the social worker this morning, challenged her on why she was asking mum about her finances as I had been advised she would get up to six weeks free care on discharge, apparently not, she’s been assessed as needing a care package and not suitable for the re-enabling which is the free provision. Queried why she was asking about POA when I had taken it into the hospital and her records were noted, told, oh that’s medical and were social work so we don’t have access to that
