I’m reading about Mal’occhio- “evil eye” 🧿, in Italian folk magic. One thing I read that stuck w me is..it’s considered bad to express admiration w/ out saying “may god bless him/her/it” or “Dio lo/Dia la benedica”, bc of unintentional evil eye & yes…that makes so much sense✨.
