I feel obligated to serve back the country and those who dont have the privileges to go to private setting. Perasaan tu kuat. Tak boleh nak explain. Dont get me wrong, i love to study abroad, travelling ; i did my elective posting in India& Ireland during undergrad, i’ve seen the good and bad situation but i never had a thought to migrate. I dont feel envy with those who has better pay & work-life balance if you name it that way. You choose your life.

I found tt a kkm doctor yg sama macam u, dia ckp dia dpt offer private tapi dia taknak wpun dkt 10x more gaji sebab dia rsa "hutang budi" dgn biasiswa gov sbb dia from poor family. "Nanti siapa nak tolong org susah?" Ayat dia buat i teringat2 semoga murah rezaki dia dipermudah segala urusan u dan doc tu.

I salute your dedication and willingness to help the less fortunate.Not everyone can afford to get treatment at the private hospital. Your feelings are valid. My husband chose to come back after receiving his BMed because of the very same reason. I once thought that was very naive of him but in hindsight it was indeed a blessing in disguise. Thank you for choosing to serve the nation, Dr. ❤️

Never play the comparison game—salary and perks aren’t everything! Just wake up, be happy, and thank whoever (or whatever) got you here. For me, it was never about the money—it was about keeping my sanity intact! I loved teaching and research, but when I saw the research heading straight into a black hole, I knew it was time to make my great escape!

I work in medical fee (management). I would highly suggest and appreciate for Doctors in KKM to stay in KKM as long as possible mainly to gain the knowledge and experiences. Once you dah banyak ilmu and experiences then pergi la private. So that di private ni, if u’re a really good doctor, then berbaloi la gaji tinggi yang dibayar and also for patients yang membayar harga mahal untuk jumpa Doctor di private ni.
