Paapa Essiedu is to play Professor Snape in the new HBO series. Poor guy is getting a lot of racial slurs and hate thrown at him. I bet he would do a great iob, and I can't wait to see the new series once it's done. I don't care if Snape was played by an Asian, Latino, Black or a White person. As long as he's true to the character. This is a childrens Fiction series. Not a history documentary. Real fans would stand behind this wonderful actor filling the large shoes left behind by Alan Rickman.
