March is Women’s History Month. I feel the same way that I feel about Black History Month and Pride Month: a dangerous necessity—necessary because we need to be educated and reminded that white hetero-patriarchy has never been our only reality; dangerous because they are opportunities for disingenuous performativism and convenient ignoring for the rest of the year.
